Software for service firms, from the contract to the collection

A service firm doesn't manage stock, so it assumes an invoicing tool is enough. The problem shows up later: contracts renewing without follow-up, recurring invoices forgotten, and a client consuming more time than they pay for without that appearing in any report.

What actually matters in services

  • Recurring invoices

Monthly and annual contracts invoice on schedule rather than depending on who remembers.

  • Debtor ageing

Who is late, by how long and by how much, so a cash-flow problem is visible before it arrives.

  • Client profitability

Allocate cost to a client or project through a cost centre, so you know which relationships are worth renewing.

  • Withholding tax

Calculated on the document at its rate, so the net receivable is right from the moment the invoice is issued.

Complete books without an in-house accountant

Most small service firms use an external accountant. Give them their own login that sees the books and nothing else, so they work on live figures instead of files emailed at the end of every month.

Common questions

I don't sell products — is this more than I need?

You use what applies: invoicing, expenses, accounting and reports, and leave inventory and manufacturing aside. Plans differ in scope, so you don't pay for modules you don't run.

Can I invoice in different currencies?

Yes. Hesbba is multi-currency, so you invoice in your client's currency while your books stay in yours. Service firms with clients abroad need this early.
