A payroll run that ends in a journal entry, not a spreadsheet
Payroll is the largest expense in most businesses and the one most often run from a file rebuilt every month. When the payroll run lives inside the system, attendance, advances and deductions reach it on their own, and it ends in a posted entry rather than a figure copied by hand.
What reaches the payslip on its own
Attendance
Hours, lateness and absence reach the payroll run without manual collation.
Leave and balances
A leave balance per employee, with requests, approvals, and their effect on pay already calculated.
Advances and deductions
An advance is scheduled and deducted automatically across its months, so it's neither forgotten nor deducted twice.
Contracts and allowances
Basic pay, allowances and contract dates are held on file, so the calculation changes on renewal by itself.
The accounting effect is part of the run
A payroll run ends in a balanced journal entry: payroll expense, deductions as liabilities, and net pay as payable. You don't write the entry, and you don't have to remember which account offsets which. If your accountant reviews the month later, there's a document behind every figure.
Common questions
Does it calculate taxes and social insurance?
It calculates deductions and taxes at the rates you define for your country and your business, and posts them to the accounts. Rates differ between countries, so they're configured during onboarding rather than hardcoded.
Can I run a trial payroll before committing?
Yes. You can review the run and its figures before posting it, and adjust what's needed. Posting is the step that creates the entry — the calculation itself is not.
How many employees does it handle?
The number of employees included varies by plan, and the current limit is on the pricing page. The system itself doesn't assume a particular size.
