The visit is over — now the ledger has to know whose revenue it was

A medical centre runs three financial relationships in one day: a patient paying cash, an insurer paying in two months at a discount, and a doctor owed a share of every case. Run those in one ledger plus side spreadsheets and nobody knows the clinic's profit before month end — usually not after, either.

Who pays, and when

  • An account per payer

Every insurer or contracted body has an account with its agreed tariff, so a case prices itself by payer rather than by mental arithmetic.

  • Receivables that don't get lost

What insurers owe appears by age — one month late against three — so the claim happens before the forgetting does.

  • Doctor shares calculated

Each doctor's share is computed from their recorded cases, so month-end settlement is reading a report rather than recalculating.

Beyond the consultation

  • Supplies as real stock

Medical consumables are items with a balance, an expiry and a cost that comes off as they are used — not an expense appearing at month end unexplained.

  • Appointments create the invoice

Completing an appointment issues the invoice at the correct payer's price, so no visit happens without being recorded.

  • Profit per service

A cost centre per speciality or service, so you know what covers its cost and what is run on reputation alone.

Common questions

Is this an electronic medical records system?

No. Hesbba is an administrative and financial system: appointments, billing, insurance, stock and accounting. Clinical records and diagnosis are not part of what we offer, and we do not describe it as an EMR.

Every insurer has different prices — does it cope?

Yes, through a price list per payer. One service carries a cash price and a price per insurer, and the right one applies when the payer is chosen.
